No Device: A not so bright question!

A not so bright question!
Having bought a new bike and due to warranty concerns; if I settled with a SEPST would that be enough for a High flow A/C & slip-ons, or can a XL-ViED be ran in conjunction with it. After the warranty lapses, I'll be going all out with it! For now, I'm not worried about EPA or CARB as much as keeping my bike running. In fact I've already been considering having one of my brothers register it in Oklahoma.
To help with what I'm asking:
I don't want to run lean but, I'm not really focusing on adding torque/HP as much as longevity, via converting to an external breather system. I also want better idle/low speed performance and a little decel pop/more volume. Just for jogging around town with no two-up and very limited highway travel.
Thanks anyone who helps!

If you use the SEPST, you can skew the sensors to run a few tenths of a point richer. If you do that, you do not want to add VIEDs as they are basically trying to skew the sensors as well.
In reality, the ECM on that bike will adjust for Harley Slip ons and an AC and will run as lean as it would in stock form. If you program it with the SEPST, there may be warranty implications.
VIEDs can simply be unplugged and go undetected.

Cool! No VIED. Got it!
The dealership tech informed me that the Pro Street Tuner with the download is the only adjustment(tuning wise) that won't void my 2017 warranty. He also said I should be okay with an AM A/C w/ EB.(even was telling me the price ranges) I just didn't mention the VIED to him. So as long as my dealership honors this no worries, I stay pretty local.
I just need better than "the lean stock for now." After warranty I'll upgrade if needed.
Thanks a lot, ride safe!
