I'm itching to complete a Stage 1 upgrade on my 2018 107ci Fat Bob. In late November, I purchased a Bassani Road Rage 2-1, S&S Air Cleaner, and Power Vision tuner from a vendor who was highly recommended. Prior to purchase, I was told that my Power Vision would be pre-loaded w/ a stage 1 base map that could further be dialed-in using the auto tune feature. Low and behold, I rec'd a phone call a week later informing me that there will not be a map pre-loaded on my tuner because there are no 107ci maps available. The only indication to getting a map that I've rec'd thus far is "sometime soon." I called DynoJet to see if they could help me out and they pretty much told me the same thing ... they'll have something when someone decides to get their 107 tuned. The only thing available right now is an improved map for a 114ci M8.

I get that these pre-loaded base maps are a convenience to the customer, but being that having something pre-loaded was a stipulation of my purchase, I'm a little perturbed by the whole situation. If I knew all of this going into it, I would've saved up for a little while longer and spent the money at my local dyno shop.

Either way, it is what it is and I'm stuck with what I have. So before I go do something incredibly stupid like go try to street tune this thing myself, is there anyone else in the universe who has a 2018 107ci M8 stage 1 power vision base map that I can work from?

 

We are working to get all of the 2018 calibrations developed and unfortunately because the Softail is completely new it takes some time as exhaust systems and other components are literally just starting to come to market. Once the parts are available we then have to install the components, develop the tunes; wash-rinse-repeat for the next combination and so on. This is extremely time consuming and takes a huge amount of resources for a company our size.

After your order was placed thru our website during our Cyber Week sale and ready to ship last week we contacted you by phone and discussed that it was going to be several weeks before we had our Softail 107 maps ready, we are still on track to have some 107 maps ready within the next week. I apologize if there was any miscommunication and we will get you a map for your setup as soon as possible to get you up and rolling.

 

Hey man. I appreciate the response and I'm not trying to bash you guys at all. There was a miscommunication, but you hooked me up and I will be a repeat customer ... no worries there. Patience is not my strong suit and I was just looking for another avenue to get my bike on the road with my new parts outside of having to dish out extra money to get it custom tuned on a dyno.

Got my Stage 1 map from Jamie @ Fuel Moto yesterday! Hoping to finish my upgrade and get on the road this weekend.

 

Welp - I did a couple of Auto Tune sessions over the weekend and after a little tweaking by Jamie @ Fuel Moto to finalize the map, Stage 1 is done! The bike runs awesome and the butt dyno is very, very happy.

Do you guys now have a good base map for a 2020 street bob with a Milwaukee 8107 engine. Bassani 2 into 2 pro street turnouts, and a ventilator extreme ac?
