Default Does a thunderheader baffle mod require retuning?

hi all,

I have a torque dip with my yhinderheader on a night train? 103ci, S & S 570 easy start cams. It has been dyno tuned however I have just heard of the baffle mod, if did the mod would it change to tune enough to damage the engine i.e. pinging etc? I no nothing about tuning heance the question.

Thanks in advance.

if you are referring to the mod that adds additional bend to the fins in the can, it will add more backpressure and may require tweeking of your map,,,i dont think that you'll get any detonation from it, but you might run into some other issues, flat spots or stumbles,,,kind of depends on what other mods you have done. what year bike? heads done, FI or carbed,,,what tuning products?
