Need help. TTS on a 2015 road glide. Newbie to this stuff.

This is my fifth Harley and I’ve always had them Dyno tubed. This time I’m going to try to avoid that and go this route. I just got a tts master tune. I have a 2015 road glide Rushmore. Harley screamin eagle ventilator and a bassani road rage 3 two into one exhaust. I’ve been reading all night and my head is spinning and I feel lost. The map I found is for ac stock cams and d&d fat cat. Should I download this one or is there a closer one out there? After I download it and get the bike rideable what is my next step. Any help or tips and advice is good. Remember I’m new to this. Keep it simple. Thanks.

In that model year you had two cooling systems used. The standard air cooled or a water cooled version. Which version do you have? As for tuning help there is a complete manual include with the product. "TTS Tuning Guide" chapter 4 "Detailed Tuning Procedures" walks you through it with pictures and descriptions. At the end of the chapter there are also Flow Charts and you would want to follow the first one on page 59.

Air cooled. Thanks you. Right now this stuff seems like rocket science

The calibration you have started with is the correct one. DAC617-04 The next step once your up and running would be to folow the Vtune instructions using the Flight Record to gather the data. I think the instructions are pretty clear but if you are not sure give the office a call and we will walk you through it. Once you've done it one time you will find it is pretty simple.

thank you. I got the map on last night. I’ll read and learn this weekend

Ok did my first run. 20 miles mix of town and freeway. I assume the goal is to get as many boxes in the red as possible by running different rpms and throttle positions. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to choose open loop or open loop automatic. I assume I made changes but it says more calibration recommended. Also I took before and after pics of my screen and none of the boxes or numbers changed. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hdf...94c31c3d3.jpeg

Here’s the fuel processing mode question that I’m not sure which to choose https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hdf...da11dc29b.jpeg

For now use Closed Loop Stock O2

Ok so I found Mr wizards tts for dummies and have been following his protocol. When I add my new fr to my tune to creat a new calibration what tables should I go in and look at to compare to the previous calibration? Is it the front and rear cylinder maps? So I just repeat and repeat until the 5% box up top gets down to 3%?

If you get it to less that %% your done. The combustion process is not repeatable, it will vary time to time. So anything less than 5% is fine for the fuel tuning side of things. Once your that close turn on the Spark assist to see if it shows any corrections needed.
