getting ready to install TTS will it matter if I install new wires and plugs after install I am waiting on a set of Magnecor wires and NGK iridium plugs? Did read that local tuner stated that original plugs and wires needed when doing a dyno tune.
Use stock plugs and wires before and after tuning. You’re wasting money on anything else and may run into issues with the ion sensing using non stock ingnition components.

Absolutely the truth, the whole truth, and nothin but the truth!
Not only a waste of money but usually cause false knock reporting which in turn causes the system to retard ignition timing which causes loss of power and higher heat.
Also can cause the bike to run and feel fine and crisp and yet sometimes feels a little sluggish compared to what is normally felt.
This condition, being unpredictable can happen any time.
IMO it’s safest to use the stock stuff. If you need a heat range cooler plug get a stock Vrod plug.
Professional tuners have the luxury of seeing if and when false knock occurs and can decide what plugs work with what builds.
You can always turn off the ion system but then you become the detonation monitor.
Rant over,
Bob
