Default cylinder variances in a(any brand) tuner.

OK. I have a pumped up 103. I am tuning with a PC5 and an autotune setup(WHILE SAVING FOT A TTS)

My question is this,
In your tunes, that you either had someone tune(dyno) or self tuned with TTS, AUTOTUNE, whatever, in the same colum, same row in the fuel tables after you have set the AFR you want the bike to achieve, do you find huge differences between the cylinders.

If so are you comfortable with this? I have swapped the o2 sensors after a good cleaning and recalibration and it seems to make no difference in the cell adjustments. What could cause so much variation in the fuel tables?

now its not like its EXTREMELY drastic. however some are running a positive and some are running a negative number. EXPERINECE WANTED>

Only one bit of info missing...how does your bike run? Response? Smoothness? Fuel mileage?
The power commander only adds or subtracts % fuel from the existing ECM calibration so, depending on the mods and exhaust system, the numbers in the cells only represent what it took to get from base calibration to target AFRs you set.

The bike runs amazing. LOL Am working two different tunes... mileage and a power/fun tune. Everything is else is good too, response is there.. Smoothness is there... fuel mileage is hit and miss depending on how i ride. but its ballpark. its not like im not happy, im just asking if i should completely trust it when one cell on Cylinder 1 is -32 and the came cell on cylinder 2 is 45(i didnt see this until after the OP, thats pretty drastic change). The plugs are a good color. and not too lean and not to rich.... howerver the rear is a little leaner than the front bassed on plugs...

Trust results when they produce a great running bike. It is not uncommon to see big differences when recalibrating for different exhaust systems and cam timing compared to previous combinations.

It has to do with heat, the rear cylinder just naturally hotter than the front cylinder and needs a little more fuel to make for equal power output.

yeah some of the differences in a tuner are not naturally that way. I understand this and see it in some of the cells. however this is like way off of the 2-5% more.

I feel it has way more to do with the uneven firing pulses that are inherent in a 45 degree engine than just a heat issue.
It is quite normal to have vastly different maps for front and rear cylinders and it’s exacerbated by inefficient exhaust and cam choices.

Not sure how or why you are into 2-5%?
Maybe you are referring to auto tuning where you look for 2-5% change and call it good?

i agree with jbarr1, not abnormal to see those types of differences and i think it has to do with the pusle and the shared intake runners.

All of the above and I will add injector tolerance variation, and pipe design/ a wobble fire engine.
