Default can a screamin eagle super tuner be re-calibrated

hi, i have a used super tuner can it be recalibrated for my specific bike and mods, I believe that the bike will need to be dyno'd and re-mapped, and new parameters installed on the supertuner, I can't see why it could not be re-calibrated, especially if new mods were made on any bike such as exhaust air intake etc.. that would modify any initial existing setting, but it is my understanding that it is intedended for the first bike it was purchased for or otherwise, people would simply use it to tune multiple bikes...friends ect. So for that reason screamin eagle makes it propriatary. thanks for the in site

Yes. You can have a new tune put on the tuner.

i might be wrong, but i thought the tuner was burned/married into the origenal bike ecm.it would be worthless used on another bike.i have heard it can be unlocked somewhere for reuse but it cost almost as much as a new one..again,i don't know for sure, its just hearsay

You can re-tune the original ECM as many times as you want to. It is a one tuner, one bike piece of equipment.

I can't tell if this is just re-tuning a Tuner on the same bike it was originally tuned too, which of course you can do.

As a dealer, the only way we can get a tuner 'unlocked' is if an ECM goes bad under warranty, H-D Tech Services will unlock them under that circumstance alone.
