HOTEL
Once again we are staying at the Quality Inn and Suites Riverfront in Palatka Florida. You can call the hotel direct on 386 328 3481 and book your room using the group code, Florida Crew. Rates are $90 per night including breakfast, plus tax. Rooms are mostly located in a block. You can book online for the same rate probably but you will not necessarily be put in the block area with the rest of the crew. Many rooms are located on the first floor but some are on the second floor. Some rooms do not have parking outside the rooms but you can leave your bike in the roped off area with the other bikes. We have not had any issues so far. The rooms have microwave and fridge. The rate and block booking is good till October 31st and you can cancel up to 7 days in advance. Once all 25 rooms are taken I will ask the hotel to open up more rooms but you run the risk of not being close to others in the group.

We will have a hospitality suite which is open all day. Do not leave valuables in that room. The parking lot is roped off to stop cars from parking amongst the bikes but occasionally somebody will still park a car there and it can't be helped.

The hotel has a Beef O'Bradys on site with a bar. Most of us eat there at night but there are other restaurants in the area to ride to. There is a gas station nearby and the usual small town stores a short ride away. Bring a foldup chair if you can as we tend to hang out in the parking lot and BYOB.

Some folks will arrive Wednesday and spend Thursday riding. We will have group rides Thursday, Friday and Saturday, usually more than one group goes out to various places such as Daytona, Gainesville, HD Dealerships and of course Woodpeckers BBQ. If you have some local knowledge please bring your suggestions to discuss or lead a group out. Sometimes the groups will ride separately and meet for lunch. If you live locally, and are not staying at the hotel, come and see us but remember most groups will leave each morning about 9am, so don't be disappointed if nobody is hanging out at the hotel during the daytime.

RAFFLE

On Saturday night in the Conference Room we will have a raffle and 50/50 at 9pm. Please bring unwanted HD and motorcycle related items, parts, new T shirts, unwanted gifts etc. Also acceptable are gift cards to restaurants or HD, and bottles of alcohol!! Do not leave those items in the Hospitality Suite but give them to me for safekeeping. The raffle also has a 50/50, I keep the 50% and turn it back into HD gift cards for the following year. If anybody wants to contact vendors to see if we can get free swag by all means do so, just IM me and let me know so that they are not asked twice.

Reply to this thread when you have made your reservation and I will make an updated and edited list regularly. Say if you are bringing a plus 1 and which nights you booked for and how many rooms.

Looking forward to seeing everybody, you are welcome to bring friends along who are not members of the Forums, and even if they ride another brand of bike it does not matter. It is all about the ride and camaraderie. NO RULES JUST RIDE

With another year going by and having already added over 8K miles between the two bikes since last years rally, I'm sure we are going to enjoy ourselves even more so this year.
