Steevo Showing what the SENA 10C Can Do
Hey Crew,
First, I gotta say that I love my GoPro cameras. They are the class of the field, the benchmark that every other camera must be measured against. But SENA is the class of the field in motorcycle Bluetooth Communication. So when they came out with a unit that combines communication with cameras, I pulled the trigger on 2 sets. Thankfully, they did not disappoint. Barbara and I talked ALL DAY, EVERY DAY, for 23 Days on our trip Out West. (Okay, "I" talked all day every day...)
But anyway, on a group ride, you can sync with other riders in the group, keep tabs on everyone from the front all the way to the back. And if you are recording, EVERYONE'S voice will be on the video. Here's a pic of our pair of SENA 10C's.
As for the video quality, I am pleased with the performance of these units. They will shoot 1080p@30FPS, which is plenty good enough for youtube or home playback. And even if you are shooting video, you can also take still pics on the fly. Here is a few short clips from our trip. The first one is from Barb's camera. For comparison, it's the same stretch of road as my "2 minutes of Colorado", but from a "Tailgunner's Point of View".
This next clip is from my Sena, it shows how good the voice quality is. The ability to narrate while you ride is really cool. Except when you are ME, and you talk regardless of whether you have a clue...
The good news is, I didn't drop the bike.
