Some decent specials at Alligator Alley on Friday... IMHO not as good as the old Chesters BF Special of 20% or 25% off all gear and parts, but this is better than nothing.

Is your sentiment due to the new owners, or related to the prior owners as well?

I'm not feeling generous towards them either. I haven't been since they changed hands, kinda pissed about the Tires For Life program ending, not the staff's fault of course. Opening hours are too short.

I guess I will go there eventually to see what's changed but I'm not rushing.

Lauren I don't blame you. They should honor that commitment. Good customers like you are too hard to get to run you off over the cost of a couple tires. That is s bad business decision on their part I think.

Plus you are such a nice person. Shame on them for treating you so poorly.

I noticed the email I got came from an email address at StingerHD..... I'm not familiar with them.

I don't know who StingerHD is either but I'm guessing they own more than just Ft Lauderdale HD.

Joe how you liking your move to Missouri?

Just looked, Stinger HD is in Cleveland... I thought the Soffer family (who founded Aventura and the mall and Turnberry and bought and renovated the Fontainebleau) bought Chesters? I need to do some research.

Lauren, it finally turned cold last weekend. I've been riding in 40's in the sun, no problem, but it's been low 40's and cloudy this week which is a bummer. I sorely miss riding out to Cafe 27 and the rides we did, you are probably the best riding partner I know.

So I'm jealous, to use only one word! I have to say our roads are better for riding here, as you know, they are beautiful with curves and hills, but not for December - March I'm afraid.

I watch my old FL Crew section, and look for the ride write ups while I sit in the cold, so keep them coming!
