I have never really posted much in the FL section because nearly everyone on here is down south. Im one of only a few it seems in the panhandle.

That is okay mate. Drop by here anytime.

You are just a few hours from Port Saint Joe. Did you ever eat at Paul Gantz barbecue? It is the best in the USA! Except they are not consistent other than their pulled pork.

I sometimes make sure I go by that place Thursday-Sunday, the only days they are open to get there pulled pork and BBQ.

Just West of Daytona on 92 (West International Speedway). They have breakfast available, showers, security, etc. I used to ride with the club and they
were always good, friendly folks. If you like rowdy, loud and drinking into early morning....may not be for you. Not exactly a Baptist Church... (Just saying)

Hey Chuck, just wanted to say thanks. I stayed at the Daytona 200 M/C campsite, it was everything I was looking for. The first night there the temperature dropped to 38, that firepit was a lifesaver! Met some great folks too! Thanks again for the tip - Tim

Default Fuel Pump Issue and.....

the joys of an older bike. When something goes, it's ready to be replaced. At least I knew it was above my pay grade and had Jamie fix it.

We rode 2,000 miles easily in January, and then the fuel pump went...but my bike is back in one-piece and ready to go.

Hope to see UKLauren at her b-day party tomorrow night!

Thanks to Lauren, back on the bike. She referred me to Steel Knuckle in Boynton Beach. Sugar fixed my bike (The mechanics name is "Sugar"). How many other mechanics took my money but did not fix it? And, Baker?....don't get me started.

But, there you go.

Thanks,
Rusty

I found a new job and quit my old one, then quit that one for a better one and bought a house and moved across town all in the last couple months. Now I am in the new house and waiting for some of my Florida crew friends to come break in my new guest room.

Be CAREFUL when you read the part that says he "Moved across town"... and when he says "Break in my guest room".....I am not falling for it.
