Hello everyone,

I just got my 16' 48 today and honestly super excited.

I live in a condo and cant really do heavy mods like shorten the rear fender and etc.

Would it be possible for you guys to recommend a place where i can get it done ?
(I live in Aventura, can be 50 miles radius)

Talk to V Twin City in Ft Lauderale, they are on US1 and Sunrise. If they can't do it they will know who can.

I don't know anywhere else south except for Petersons.

i asked Alligator Harley Dealer and they said they dont do it there. i ll ask paterson too even if that place is not my favourite

I used to go to Doc Cycle on 84 past University. Honest, not super expensive, and knows his stuff.

 

White Knuckle Engines in Davie. He does all work, including custom modifications (tank, fenders, custom paint, etc).

 

A couple more, Interstate V-Twin, Lake Park, Severe Cycle, Inc, Stuart, Fast Franks, Fort Pierce & American V-Twin in Stuart. A lot of the Treasure Coast Hog members go to Severe Cycle. Treasure Coast rates are $125. Or $135. hr.

Were I you, I'd get to know the boys and girls in my area. One of them should be able to do this sort of work in their own garage, and I'd guess, either for a favour or at a fraction of the price that a shop would want.
In my experience, most folk are decent and are prepared to help others starting out in our chosen lifestyle, especially if they are financially challenged.
Talk to some people and make friends. See what comes from it, just don't make yourself a pain in the *** with them!
