just a reminder that we have a Crew Rally in Palatka, Veterans Day weekend, November 10-12.

The hotel will be the same as last year. Murph still has to fix the price with them but we're hoping for around $75/80 a room per night. Do not book with them yet because we will have a group rate with rooms close together.

Some people will arrive on Wednesday Nov 8th, others on Thursday, the rest Friday or even Saturday for one night.

Typically we spend all day riding the north part of the state including the Ocala National Forest, A1A etc. You can either put your own ride together or join a group. After that we hang out in the evenings with a bevvy or 6. The hotel has a restaurant and bar on site or you can BYOB. There's lots of chit chatting and bantering, last year we had a raffle which was a lot of fun. I have about $350 from last year so will be purchasing some nice raffle prizes for this year, though you can also donate bike related prizes if you have anything you are happy to offload.

A couple questions for the regulars ... it was a PITA but I could put T shirts together if there is enough interest. I would have them one price for short sleeved and one price for long sleeved but I would like some new artwork and need to know if anybody has connections to a T shirt biz that could create something new incorporating our logo preferably at no charge or as part of the T shirt prices. Last year we only sold about 25 shirts and it was a lot of work to do that. If not enough interest I would can the idea.

Secondly, in past years we have had a Saturday night BBQ at the hotel. We did not do it last year but it could be organized if there is enough interest and was prepaid only, to me via Paypal, with tickets issued to those who pre-paid. There are restaurants near the hotel, plus the Beef O Bradys in the hotel so we are not miles from food but if enough want to go for it I could get Woodpeckers to cater.

So get your requests into work for time off, mark your calendars and come join us. All are welcome whether you've never met any of the Crew or not.

 

If you decide to get some shirts I can get the design taken care of. We have a sign shop in Longwood and 1 of my designers loves doing motorcycle related art work. I can pay his beer fee

I am planning on being there Wed - Sunday. Count me in for the BBQ if there is enough interest. And I'm looking forward to the Magnolia Cafe!! They had the best Shrimp and Grits!!!

 

The rally is Friday November 10th to Sunday November 12. Some will arrive on Wednesday or Thursday, pretty much everybody leaves Sunday.
