I won't waste my time with anything involving Peggys' Coral or Born To Ride. That place is a dump.

Yup, it is a bit of a dump which is why I go there now and then. I used to go to the River's Edge all the time but since they cleaned it up and made it all respectable I rarely stop there. If I want to see families, kids, strollers and pets running around I'd go to Bike Week or the dealership. Peggy's does draw a different crowd sometimes.
As far as Born to Ride, I'm not a big fan of that. I was friends with Paul Allen from Full Throttle so if I had to choose (which I don't) I'd probably lean that way. It's just the old Beatles or Stones, Yankees or Red Sox, Budweiser or Miller thing. |

Couldn't have said it better. No matter which magazine or what event it's all about the brand and everything else is secondary. Neither book has a real big presence in Hillsborough County anymore. Everything is Pinellas and points beyond. And Geez, how many of those Latin guys are there??? Can the chapter really be that big or do they bus them in from out of town?:icon_shrug:
