All of you please stay safe. You will be in our thoughts. Please post up and let us know how you are doing when it is over. (Than you can go back to being unsafe) :/

LOL! Good one matey. Me, BuzzCap7 are staying put. The eye is predicted to go 100% over 'me house. 5-10 foot surge so that should be ok since I am at about 12 1/2 ft in elevation. But honestly they cannot know about the 5-10 feet THIS far out. There are way too many variables.

I have beer, chicken wings, a new case of condoms, and a new prescription filled for Viagra. So I for one should be fine.

Will check in later….

Not exactly sure where it's headed either... so I'll stay home and ride it out too. It looks to be tracking on my exit route anyway.

Stay dry...

Thanks BuzzCapp...you reminded me to get (more) beer! Barbara and I did not like the idea of staying in a shelter with hundreds of others, with their coughing and sneezing, etc. Also...where do you think they are going to take the street people? Yup...same shelters. The street people here in Daytona, they can have my floor space.
No hotel rooms to stay in, heard on the radio it might take 18 hrs to get up towards Macon. Savannah, GA is being evacuated. Where do you think those people are going?
Oh well.
As the old gospel song goes:

From the moment I wake up,
Before I put on my make up,
I say a little prayer for you.

While combing my hair now.
I wonder what dress to wear now.
I say a little prayer for you.

Lakeland here.... Just found out we are 4 miles west of the forecasted path of the eye.
Both bikes will be moved from the shop into the house!

Better safe then sorry!

Eye went over the top of us, we just got power back today. Lucky as hell, a bunch of debris in the yard was it. Ended up losing everything in the fridge and freezer but we aren't complaining one bit!!! We leave for a 11 day trip to Arkansas on Tuesday am and when we get back the first thing we are gonna do is get a generator. Gotta say that hunkering down in the hallway listening to the wind outside for 3 hrs was damn unsettling but then the total silence when the eye came thru was pretty cool......
