Default Sunday the 19th.

I think I may slide down to Peggy's on Sunday. Then maybe swing by The Rivers Edge on the way back. Although the new owners of the Edge sure are sprucing the place up and making it all kinds of respectable. Pretty soon it'll too damn upscale to even bother with. Hell, maybe I'm just gettin' to damn old for this havin' fun stuff.

Thinkin about hittin the Steel Horse see if anyone wants to run south to the River's Edge and Peggys today. We have a benefit run Dec. 9th if you're interested. Be leaving the Steel Horse, up to the Rebar and Sail Inn, end up at JT's for food.
On another note: Always know when this guy is near, the dove take flight in a frenzy, red birds and squirrel go invisible. There's a bird feeder 15' below him...lmbo

I stopped by the Steel Horse and JT's two Sundays ago and it was dead and deader. I guess Sunday is not their day.

Nice hawk. We have one that lives in the tree in my side yard. I just wish he'd bury his dead instead of leaving in the yard for me to chop
up with the mower a week later!

Yeah, cool looking older conventional.

Sunday was good. Headed out in the morning at first light for a ride north on 301 up around Festival Park in Pasco then over to 41 south down to Ybor City. Had breakfast at about 10am then took a slow roll down 41 through Gibtown, Sun City and those places down into Peggy's Corral.

I like Peggy's. I find it to be more like the Rivers Edge used to be back when Barney owned it before is started to get all fancy and respectable like.

Left there a little before 1pm, hit a few sprinkles on the way into town so I stopped at Roosters on Broadway for about 45min. 'til the rain stopped then took it back to the house. A fine day it was.

Festival Park is/was up on 301 just north of the Hillsborough line by the Zephyrhills Correctional Inst. They used to host car auctions and shows, antique Sprint and Midget car races and the infamous Livestock Music Festival. Three days of non-stop camping, music, booze, drugs and debauchery. Livestock was kind of a 100 acre "Thunder Dome" where anything was likely to happen.
