Any feedback on the St. Pete Bikefest?
I heard that the dealership staff was bitching in the test ride area that people were just coming for the free rides with no interest in buying. Draft beers were $6 each, mixed drinks were $9 and bike parking at the Tradewinds was $10.oo!!! Any truth to that? If so it sounds more like a mugging than a bike event.

I went on Friday morning. Yes the parking was ten dollars. The vendor area was very small. I did not buy a beer, but a bottle of water cost $3.75. The entire thing was on the Tradewinds property. I did not stay thru lunch, and did not go back for the concert that night, which was covered under my ten dollar parking. Unless they move it somewhere else next year I don't think I will go back.

Well I was there on Saturday 11-11PM....parking at the Tradewinds was non existing...had to park on a side street under a no parking sign, as every freaking parking lot at any storefront ot hotel is a tow-away zone ( didn't mind a ticket, but no thanks to a tow-away)...
The vendor area was definitely small, maybe 12-13 tents.....by 8PM the vendor area was pretty quiet happen to walk by the FairinXchange so why NOT I changed my fairing to the painted one...it was quick maybe 45 minutes for the swap...then bought riding boots for my son, he like mine they have no heel and I saw they were selling the same ones (nice XMAS present for him).
The first band came on at around 4pm...pretty good, but not too many folks in front of the stand mosty by the pool drinking and smoking. Second band started around 9:30pm......on the beach must have been maybe 1500 folks.....overall, it was an OK day....will I do it next year....nah...been to this one, off my bucket list...
Not too many food stands or bars...mostly hotel venues.....i am not of a drinker anyways.
The best part ......was the bagger tent, some pretty cool bikes, here's one of them ...
