Default Why So Quiet Here?

Yeh the weather has been great for riding, just went out for a friend's birthday on our bikes, T shirt weather at 7pm, rode A1A about 25 miles and home on 95.

I was in London and Israel for the last 2 weeks.

What have you all been doing?

I was just thinking that a few days ago so I dropped something in. It has been a bit soft in here.

Jan weather sucked here in Daytona. Not sure I started either bike during that month. But if it takes cold weather gear to go for a ride, I stay home. Too many good days the rest of the year to bother riding and being uncomfortable, lol. Feb weather has started out better as its back in the 70s.

I was in Essex for a week, it was freezing, I don't know how I managed to live in Blighty all those years.

South coast it is forecast to drop tonight to -4 degrees Celsius or 24.8 in your money. Having spent 32 years in the Royal Air Force and enjoyed the benefit of travelling the world extensively I still wouldn't want to live anywhere else but Dorset. Whilst the hankering to get out on the bike is always there I seek solace in the fact that there will be plenty of days soon to enjoy the green and pleasant land of ours sat in the saddle metaphorically speaking of course.

I just got back from 2 weeks in Costa Rica. I have managed to ride to work every day this winter. Some days just take more layers and leather.

Welcome Home, sounds like a nice trip, been to Israel twice back in the late 70's and early 80's, I love that country, so much history!

Broke my arm Thanksgiving week on my atv. I haven't even moved the bike since mid-November. Buuuuuuuuuuut, she's getting a bath this weekend and I think I'm good enough to ride now. No pain and about 75% range of motion.

Glad that you had a great trip Lauren.

Back to work and working up to 13 hrs a day at times. After being retired, this is something that I am not use to. I have to get use to the grind of working again.

I did take the bike out for a little while today after mowing the grass and prepping the garden for new plantings. I sure enjoyed the ride.

In a couple of weeks, work will probably slow down and can start doing some rides.

Every one please ride safe. The bad drivers are even inland now.

Edit; I just wanted to share that I carried my grandson to Kennedy Space Center for his 9th birthday. Just him and I and we had a blast. We took the Explorer tour and saw the Falcon Heavy rocket on launchpad 39A. We spent the whole day there and he loved it.
