Right now, the forecast is really bad. Especially for us in the South. We could possibly dodge it on the way up, but we'd be swimming back home later. We can watch it throughout the day today, see if maybe it will stall out, arrive later. But the current forecast has it arriving Saturday morning, here in the South.
If the forecast holds, we can call the ride later this evening. If there is any favorable changes, we can wait until the morning to make the call.

 

That's what I'm seeing from the west also. Clear for the ride over to Orlando then 50%/60% chance of rain for the meet time and 50% for the ride back to Tampa. We'll see what it looks like tomorrow.

 

After lots of discussion with Steevo today we've agreed to postpone the ride.

Just watch the weather guys get it wrong and it turns out to be a rain-free weekend.

We will re plan this later this month.

I wanted this ride to happen as scheduled, but when I saw this image of what was coming, that did it for me.

 

And now the weather reports I'm seeing show 3% change of rain in my area up until about 8 pm and 10% in Orlando until the overnight. Can you believe it? WTH???

 

Yep and barely a drop here, not enough to not ride.

 

The 19th is their one year anniversary party, with a car and bike show.
