How many of you are going to Leesburg Bikefest? I've been to two or three of them. It's always been a good time. I'm looking forward to checking it out again this year.
The population of Leesburg is around 20,000 residents. The promoters say 300,000 people travel through there on Bike Week.
A tip: If you buy a shirt, buy a size or two bigger than you need. I bought several 2X shirts last year. After the first wash, they were "mediums".

 

Gonna skip the event and ride over to Howie in the Hills to the guy that ships our bikes out to Wyoming. He is having a get together at his new place and I need to find out where to leave my bike in September...

 

I'm going to try to get down there. Haven't been in a couple years.

 

Going Friday to Sunday but staying in Howie in the Hills. Don't care if I don't go into town, going to have fun with friends and ride a few hills and a curve or 2 even if small ones.

 

We are going to ride over Saturday morning...be last longer ride on the Sportster, pick up our Electra Glide the following weekend

 

We'll be there Thursday- Sunday. 2nd year for us. Had a great time last year and looking forward to meeting new friends this year.

Gotta say that we’re a little disappointed with the main band line up. Couldn’t even get old bands to perform, just former members...

 

I am heading over with my girls riding group Saturday and will be staying outside of the area also.

 

Will be going up either friday afternoon or saturday morning.

 

Yep, I go over every year, spend Saturday night. Maybe I run into a few of y'all this year. Look for the old guy in his bedroll, up against his scoot using the curb for a pillow, downtown across the street from the missionaries, after midnight...

 

Looking to go next year. Is there a good campground in the middle of everything. Would like to park the bike at night and have a good time.
