Default Rode the smokies

Went to the mountains for my Vaca.
The parkway was being repaved so I didn't ride much of it. If you are going up there this year, expect lane closures! Gravel was still on the parts not closed.
The temperature was below normal by 17 degrees. 52 degrees every morning, but it did warm up to 70 very quick!

Apparently the owners of Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground are retiring and turning the campground over to their son.
I think big things are about to happen!

My favorite area to ride in the southeast. I'm overdue for a trip up there.

Sounds like you had nice riding weather while you were there.. Beautiful country for sure!
Heading to my Brothers in S.C. next month on the scoot, then riding up to N.C. to look at a piece of property close to Asheville.

All areas up there are great riding.

I did my first ever Tail of the Dragon for my 62nd birthday, 3 weeks ago.

Video here, my buddy behind me::::

And sitting here contemplating heading to Ocean City, Maryland for Delmarva Bike Week.

Have the trailer hooked up, just gotta pull the trigger.

I just rode the BRP from Cherokee to Boone then back. No construction at all and the roads were great!

10 days, 4 states, almost 1700 miles total.

YEEHAW!!
