Default Michael is Coming! Stay Safe

To all my fellow Floridians, especially my friends in the panhandle, be safe and prepare well. Irma got me last year here in central-ville but I was ready as I could be. Looks like this one will miss me but others are going to get hit pretty hard. Seek a safe place to ride it out, and to those new to the experience, it's not a reason to throw a party. Heed to warnings and everything will be okay. Stuff can be replaced but you can't.

We should be fine over here in the Tampa Bay area. In fact this morning I was enjoying a nice ride on an 85° day with an easy breeze that made it feel like around 80°.

Coming into Panama City, Apalachicola area hitting Hard and a lot of the beaches there are very wide open with no barriers against Wind and Surge from the Gulf .. Hoping all in that area are taking precautions which may well mean either shelter or leave .. As far east as I am in North FL, think will be okay other than wind and rain and possible no power for a while .. About the same went through with Irma last year ..

Y’all be safe. I just read it may be a cat 4 by the time it makes landfall.

I was suppose to be in the panhandle today on business but of course cancelled. We were slated to ride to Panama City Beach Bike Week on the 24th but I am sure that will be cancelled as well. I hope everyone comes through safely.

That thing is going to drill a path across that area ala Andrew. Let's hope it weakens before landfall.
