It's 65° at 8 AM in the Brandon - Mango area and it looks like it's gonna be a hell of a good day for riding.

 

I'm looking forward to heading back to the Sunshine State in a couple weeks. It's 33 degrees this morning in Ohio, and I'll be working outside all day....

 

I have been riding all week. I hate that we have rain tomorrow. I was going to take my Sporty to the birthday party of a friend as they all want to see it and they lent me the trailer to pick it up.

 

We may get a little rain tomorrow but looks like it's goona be a good day for the Southbound and Down shindig over in Tampa on Saturday.

 

Raining here right now, I wanted to ride today, but it seems to rain about 7 or 8 a.m. and around 4 which is just when i get off. Love it here though 6 months now. Seafood festival at John's pass tonight,

 

I got in a couple of hours of riding today from 11 am to about 1pm then the rain came back. Gonna clean up the bike for Southbound and Down tomorrow. I'll probably be the oldest m-efer there!!! Should be good weather at least.

 

I put about 300 miles on my Fatboy yesterday (Thursday), was a beautiful morning, left the house at 4:30 AM, 70 degrees full moon... Had breakfast at the Cracker barrel in Lakeland then stopped by & opened up Lakeland Harley.. After that stopped and harassed some old friends in Polk county then headed on back home in Matlacha. A Great ride all the way...

cooler temps sure felt nice, plus my ole carbed scoot likes the cooler air & was really running good..

 

I led a ride with my local HOG group to Mt Dora to a arts and crafts fair. Mt. Dora is a really cool little town and the roads in the are are not bad. We enjoyed the cold weather and had fun. We had a decent group of 11 bikes which is a nice size group.

 

Mount Dora is a very nice place.

 

Today,
Rode the Sporty to work 57 degrees and no windshield on 41 sucks with a mesh jacket. lol. Although, it is better then rain.
Interessting thing is the Bike loved the cold weather which is odd considering it runs lean.
