1987 Florida enacted legislation that prohibited local cities and counties from having their own gun control laws. I don't remember which paper but I think it was an op ed piece in the Gainesville Sun. Does it matter anyway? Another statement by an anti 2A idiot that never came true. And Florida has over 1.3 million issued ccw permits.

I don't consider myself part of the crew because I've never ridden with anyone from the crew, which I believe was the only rule to no rules just ride, but who am I to know. I lurked here a long time ago and was too unsure of myself as a rider to meet up with anyone, but I will say it would be nice to see this place return to the halcyon days of yesteryear. Today I would ride 200 miles for a cheeseburger! I have the same work, family and religious obligations that most of us do but it would be nice to share time with like minded people. I hope to make this happen. Peace
