Yea when the Florida crew first formed it was a regular thing to have a 250 mile ride to some podunk diner for lunch. I was in college and working weekends so I rarely got to join in on the fun. Now that I'm off weekends and live closer to everyone it's kinda died. I'd love to see a rejuivination of the Florida Crew and I'll do my part although I don't own a Harley and my next bike will be an Indian

Not trying to be argumentative but Florida obtained that monicker because of the number of concealed weapons' permits issued, over 1.3 million. One major newspaper said that, "blood will run freely in the streets," due to Florida's concealed weapons laws.

I don't consider myself part of the crew because I've never ridden with anyone from the crew, which I believe was the only rule to no rules just ride, but who am I to know. I lurked here a long time ago and was too unsure of myself as a rider to meet up with anyone, but I will say it would be nice to see this place return to the halcyon days of yesteryear. Today I would ride 200 miles for a cheeseburger! I have the same work, family and religious obligations that most of us do but it would be nice to share time with like minded people. I hope to make this happen. Peace
