Fred worked for me 30 years, during that time we became good friends. Dropped dead at 68. His Son is having a bonfire in his memory Saturday. Didn't ride.
Haven't heard about anything else but I've been in Tenn 3 weeks so not up to speed yet.
Toy runs will be starting soon if you are into them. I know the Suncoast Brotherhoods is the third Sunday in December.

Well here in Central Florida, it was a perfect day for a ride. Temps in the mid 60's, very light breeze, almost totally clear skys with only a few small fluffy clouds and even the traffic was fairly light. Hard pressed to get out for the past few days as other priorities kept getting in the way. Today my time was my own so I just got back from a 90+ mile loop I needed just to blow off the dust. Did the "go South then West then Noth and then finally East" ride on easy 45 to 65 MPH one and two lane haihways.
Might be able to get a few miles in tomorrow, but rain is forcast for the weekend. Oh, but that is right, every day is a weekend for me and the weather will get nice again in a few days. This is Florida.

You can't beat it right now, no rain, no humidity and no heat.
I rode to Okeechobee yesterday and had breakfast at the Landing Strip Cafe at the airport. That's a great little breakfast and lunch spot. 90 miles each way for eggs and corned beef hash. Who says we're crazy?
