You can't beat it right now, no rain, no humidity and no heat.

I rode to Okeechobee yesterday and had breakfast at the Landing Strip Cafe at the airport. That's a great little breakfast and lunch spot. 90 miles each way for eggs and corned beef hash. Who says we're crazy?

I spent 2 weeks at my cabin in Tenn.

 

 

Rode from Orlando to Daytona last Friday for the Turkey Rod Run at the speedway. Might have gotten to 80 in the afternoon. Was sunny with a slight breeze all day. Couldn't beat it.

 

Amelia island, Fernandina Beach, rode the ferry twice... Good times.

Tomorrow headed to Winter Park. Whooooo Hooooooo........................ 3 days of play'n.

Well the temp's got into the 50's today and the breeze died down somewhat. I had to do some errends and a little xmas shopping, so I jumped on the bike for a quick ride. Stopped by the dealer to pick up a part I had ordered and found a couple of long sleeve t-shirts to wear during these cooler temps. Also found a couple of tops to put under the tree for my lady. Got done shopping and did a little zigging and zagging around some back roads to make the trip a little longer on the way home. Air was a little brisk, but riding was great. Temps look even a little better tomorrow.

 

I'm definitely going to get out there today. Planning to cut the grass about 9am then hit the road. Going to hit a few shops to see if I can find a lower profile seat and a pair of slightly higher handlebars for the '93 Softie. I had an easier time finding good used parts for my Shovelhead then I have finding stuff for this old scow.

 

Heading up to Dade City tomorrow for a friends memorial bonfire.

 

I heard there was a ride for somebody around this area on Saturday but I don't think that was it. Your's sounds like a private event.
