Typical rides include the St. Johns River area to Palatka; Sugarloaf mountain area, including Boondocks and the Hideaway; trip to Cassadaga for a reading and then hitting stops on back country roads; and a favorite trip I lead every year to Pirates, Ma Barkers, Kool Kats and areas north of town.
When I used to go to Bike Week and events like it, it was for the big party aspect of the event not for the riding. I can ride those places anytime of the year. The only riding we did was to get to and from the location of the action. I guess a lot has changed.

I would however like to get your route "to Pirates, Ma Barkers, Kool Kats and areas north of town" for future reference.

Here in Florida, or anywhere that hosts a rally, folks are spoiled because we can go every year if we want to and we can ride the routes whenever we want to so it's not as big of a deal to us as it is for folks that have to travel for it.

My friends and I are riding there, today, from East Orlando. It's my first time going to Leesburg. Living in Florida, we ride to all of the spots year round. As someone else pointed out, we go to the rallies for the party aspect, bands and to look at bikes. We will be there until Sunday staying in an RV that we rented. Some of our friends are riding there to meet us tomorrow.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to personally meet some of you. Stay safe everyone.

I'd like to, but due to my hand I don't know if I can ride that far. I'm gonna try for a day trip but if my hand hurts too much before I get there, I will turn around and head home.
I'm pretty sure I can make it to Bunnell, and maybe 30 or 40 miles further due to lack of traffic, and riding the flattop with no traffic lights.
If I make it, great! If not, then I had a good ride!

I decided to not attend the rally this year. I've been there three years in a row. There is just to many damn people. Hard to find a place to park, and dodging people left and right on the sidewalk. I might give it a try again next year.

Oh man I love Pancho's Villa. Used to go there frequently when I had business in the Dade City area. Great Burritos and Chimi's.

I’m going up later today. Only 57 miles from my home.

Will pick up a t-shirt and try to find a good woman to go with it lol
