Guys, I was coming home from work the other day down Gandy Blvd. from bayshore, this homeless lady walked right out in front of me. I mean right in front of me. I hit the brakes hard, locked the rear it slid right, had the bars all the way right. Man i didn't think i was going to pull out. I still don't know how i DID, there was a guy on a glide pulled up to me and said that was a nice recovery, I'm like #$%@#%#$F I thought i was going to bite it. I wasn't going to hit her for anything. Folks just watch these people, I never thought of someone just walking out. Cars yeah all the time, but not people. Man i am still thinking about it.

 

Glad your okay. People (homeless) on drugs are not even aware they are alive. Seen this before, but I was in my truck when it happened to me. Be on guard ALL the time is the rule of thumb when driving these days.

 

They are in their own world.....

 

Possibly looking for an insurance claim lawsuit.
