Thanks
I keep it in my tour pack. The trunks lid organizer to be more specific.

When I kept it in my saddle bag, it worked perfectly. Same as when I tried it in my windshield pouch.

ALL is GOOD! Works better than u might think picking up the signal. A-ok mate.

My friends, you may want to double check because if you use what Florida calls "Bill By Plate" there is an administrative fee to do so.

We have that fee in Florida (last I heard) so you may or may not have it in your state.

Keep in mind as well "reciprocity". If you are from state X and are using your license plate, when you are in state Y, there may be a fee. Not meaning to complicate anything… Just FYI.

Buzz, If you link a plate to a valid transponder, you are not charged the administration fee for "Bill by Plate." "Bill by Plate is for use without a transponder.

I used heavy duty Velcro and put it in the front of the lid inside the right saddle bag.

Most of the time I leave it in the glove box, since my plate is tied to it. If I think about it, I'll stick it to the windshield if getting on a toll road.

Technology has made it so you don't even need the dumb transponder anymore... Just log in and add the plate number. Remove when no longer needed.

I used to tape my transponder to the windshield of my Low Rider. Left a mess, needless to say. On my Sportster I was out of luck. I've got a cell phone holder on both bikes and I downloaded the PayTollo app and set up both bikes and my car. Put my phone on data, turn on the app and select the bike I'm on. Works like a champ. You pay the tolls later after acknowledging them. Reloads with whatever you've specified like the SunPass.

I used to leave it in the saddlebag. It would be picked up perfectly.

I moved it to the trunk in my lid organizer. And it still works perfectly.

With the bill by plate, I would not be concerned about the transponder anymore. I suspect the just going to do away with them in time.

But it is amazing how it is picked up right through the fiberglass or plastic whatever the saddle bag and trunk is made of.
