I laughed when I saw Uklaurens sig saying her bike is a total chrome *****. Mine is too. I didn't do it, I bought it used that way (mostly). I would not have spent all that money putting chrome everyplace but at this point I might as well go with it. It don't get you home but it doesn't strand you either. Here are some pics. I'm putting the fender rack back on and that adds a lot to it. Anyone else have a chrome ***** post up some good pics (lauren) and we can see who deserves the title Chrome ***** pimp!

Everybody these days has the same thing - all black flat black or all black gloss black. Bor-ing.

BTW, nice flame job. If you put the rack back on the rear fender let me know if you want to get rid of the leather bib.

 

Was pretty hard to top my FXR4 on having a Chrome Whole .. But my 05 Dyna is not bad either ..

 

I wouldn't have called it a chrome *****, but my Dyna was setup with a lot of chrome from the PO. He even threw in the chrome controls because of the brake fluid leakage and the peeling paint that comes with it, but I haven't changed them out yet. So much chrome now, that I can't see to ride when the sun is over my shoulder; not sure chrome controls wouldn't make that worse.

 

Pretty Much Got Away from the Chrome ***** Style intentionally when bought the Chieftain Dark Horse .. Was over 2,000 Less than the Regular Chieftain and still had all the Features except the TV Screen which felt no need for anyway .. Have Managed to Keep it Looking Showroom after 2 Years and 23,000 Miles just using Topcoat F11 which is very simple to use as well .. No More Wax On Wax Off .. Just Wipe it on and lightly Wipe it off with a Microfiber Towel twice a year, After it's applied and 10 min Rubdown with a damp cloth and comes right back to looking new again ..

 

Oops me bad, you wanted to see Chrome...Sorry, ain't got much except for that little bit on the motor and if you look close, the barrel locks on the saddle bags and Tour-Pak are chrome!!! Since this pic was taken, I have changed out the caliper grill covers to black and added black front axel nuts.
