Anyone interested in a ride up to Savannah next Saturday for a visit to the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum?

Figure we can take 301 to Calahan, shoot over to Yulee, and grab 17 north from there. Might even be beneficial as we get closer to Savannah to jump on I95 for those last 15 miles or so, as the museum is right off of I95.

Not going to make it. The little lady wants to ride her Yamaha on Saturday morning so I must support her decision and ride with her.

May have to engage my back-out gear on this one. I was out in the garage and noticed a piece of wire sticking out of my tire. I pulled it out and hit it with a spray bottle. I have a small leak, and have ordered a tire from jakewilson, but it won't be here until Friday. If it is early Friday I will be OK, but if it gets here at the end of the day I am screwed. I have the tire off the rim, just waiting.....

I haven't backed out yet, but it is in reverse and my foot is on the clutch. Worse case scenario we meet up and go to Shrimp R Us and Andersen's. Not an entirely bad trade-off!

How the trie coming.is the sleep getting better,got a new guy that looks like he going to b a rider Tom on a tourglide EVO.He is off thur,fri,mon,and is riding this morning.

Dang, How are you ever going to make it all the way till Friday without riding????? I am surprised you did not air it up and go trade it in so you could keep rolling. LOL!!!

I'da put a plug in it...but then again, my bike is lighter...

I woulda had no problem plugging it, except it already had 21,000 on it. Not a lot of life left in it.

Tire will be here tomorrow evening, getting no sleep, always glad to welcome another rider, and I am ready to ride!

I think that would be a great ride to the museam. I would need a bit more lead time....
since I would probably need to take a day off. Do you make an overnighter of it?
Since I figure it is a 4.5 hour ride up, same back plus a few hours at the museam.
I remember there was a decent motel on the interstate at one of the exits to savannah....accross from a truck stop.
The museam will be on my list.
