So I'm moving to Florida, what does a rider need to know?

Looks like I found a place.

Does florida test emmissions and db levels on bikes when you register them/yearly?

Also, I'll be moving to the Orlando area, what, if anything do I need to know about riding in this area?

No tests and watch out for the old people and tourists

Post up in the Florida Crew section. They might be of some help.

If you are going to ride in the Orlando area better mount your head on a swivel. between all the locals trying to get everywhere at Mach 3 and the snowbirds doing 45 in the left lane it can get real interesting. There is some very nice riding in the area if you get out of Orlando proper. Post up once you are down here and I am sure you can hook up on a good ride.

Welcome to Florida. Once you get out of Orlando and into the country you will love the place.

that it rains every day in the summer

When you move to Florida....move here to 'live'. We won't care how you
'used to do it' where ever you came from.
It is hotter and muggier here in the summer than where ever you came from. It gets cold here in the winter, so when you say " I should have stayed in ("where ever you live now"). We will say, "Move your ass back there." We have bugs here. We have alligators. Most of us have seen both. It rains in the summer. Hurricanes...not so much, but we hear about them 22 hours a day on the TV.
Florida crew is mostly good people. Hard workers for the most part, except for the two trying to find a job, and three retirees, and the other one.
Hope you like it here.
