Welcome Ryan and Heather. We ride every Sunday and usually end up at Bert's Black Widow in Port Charlotte. We go out through Arcadia and down some two lane county roads to get there. On the way there aren't any places to stop for a beer (because of the blue laws, no alcohol til 1 pm ) but once you get to Bert's, it is...Free Beer, Free Food and Free Band every weekend. You are welcome to come ride with us. Once your here for a while and start talking to people, you will know where to go.

I am not so new to the forum but I do have a new bike. Picked up a 2008 Heritage this past weekend.

 

Just joined the forum yesterday and saw this thread. I live in the Jacksonville area and after 30 years of riding I bought my first HD on Halloween. A very low mileage 2010 Ultra from a private seller from St Auggie.
I had recent knee replacements so my riding will be delayed a few months as I try to get my leg strength back. Rather then waiting until spring to buy a bike I jumped on this one as it had my name all over it. So, I hope to be up and running soon and maybe hook up with some local rides.

 

welcome from vero area.... i too had dbl knee replacements 3 years ago this month... right one not good... left better.. i was riding 10 weeks post op and now no problem holding her up... just cant climb stairs too good... steady as she goes man and keep em moving

 

Hello from the Panhandle. Just bought my third Harley! Sold my 2014 Street Glide a few months ago and couldn't stand it any longer. I very much dislike the blacked out 2018's so I went with a 2017. Really loving the new 107 motor.
