Welcome to the Fl Crew Please Introduce Yourself
#431
My name is Frank, 76 years young, and I'm located in Ormond Beach (recent transplant from NC). I'm kind of baffled that there are not more riders from the Daytona Area posting in this forum or posting in this thread.
I'm a new '18 Heritage Classic softail owner and a relatively new rider returning to two wheels after almost 40 years. I have been hanging around of the Softail area of this forum, but this is the first time I took a look at this "Florida Crew" section and decided to introduce myself.
I purchased my Cherry in October of 17 and in early December I hurt my back that kept me off the bike for almost 3 months and which required Surgery. Finally got back on the bike over the past few weeks and putting on miles to build up my stamina. My back stills gets tired and aches somewhat after a few hour ride, but things are getting better with every ride. I'm just approaching my 1K service.
I'm still learning this bike and don't know if I'm ready for riding in large groups just yet, but would be willing to join another rider or two from this area for some local rides.

Hello! I did not know this part of the board existed. I’ve been a member for a few years now. Anyway, I spent most of my life in SC. I moved my family to Lakeland last springform work. I never thought I’d miss the riding in SC as much as I do, but is what it is. I enjoy living here and ride a 78 flh and 06 fatboy (mostly the shovel though). I wish I’d seen this board sooner. I don’t think I can make it to the get together this year. Maybe next year.

Hey all, I've been riding since I was 15-years old and just haven't lost the thrill. Long list of bikes I've owned, but the last two bought new, were; a 1996 FLSTN Nostalgia and a 2006 FXDI-35 Superglide. Looking forward to some interesting discussions.
