Default assless chaps?

I keep seeing this reference....a$$less chaps...as opposed to chaps with a$$? Are all chaps not a$$less? If they had an a$$..that would make them leather trousers? Admittedly..I have been away from riding for a while...maybe things changed.

Seriously?? ALL chaps are assless. Otherwise, they'd be called leather PANTS.

All depends on what kind of oil you use and whether you sit on your bike or stand at red lights.

I can't see my a$$ so I really don't care. My transmission shifts just fine whether I'm wearing chaps or not. Just so you know.

Yes, chaps are a$$less by definition. But I think most people just like saying "a$$less" for the mental picture it conjures up.

And it's fun to say... Like "ointment" or "spork" ;-)

Or sit or stand when filling with gas. Oh yeah, where do you put your gas cap as well!
