Get rain in the forecast, then a day or two before, they change it to just cloudy. No rain in the forecast now. I guess at some point it's all blown off by traffic, though there's enough on my road, with very little traffic that seldom goes over 20mph, that it'll be salty till Christmas with no rain.

Ran some errands in town with the van, almost took the Ural, glad I didn't. Still saltwater running across the roads from a few plow piles and parking lots, large crusted salt spots where there isn't much traffic, and piles of unmelted salt chunks between lanes and scattered across the road in spots. Wasn't that bad right after the last snow, they must have salted again sometime after the snow was gone; sounds kinda dumb, but not the first time. Huge waste of salt, laying it down with no precip in the forecast. Rough on car paint and motorcycles, too.

Morning again Doc , Rick. Was over in the mensa section (TOAK) listening to some music posted up by Hags. Guy has a lot more energy in his tank then I ever had. Never met him , but I like him. Seems like a lot of the guys I hung out with growin' up.
