Lot of rebellious young men that pushed boundaries and were deemed poor soldiers in the Stateside environment that seemed full of unnecessary bullcrap protocol to them turned into the guy you wanted next to you when all the rules were forgotten and it was turn loose your inner beast with no restrictions. But that was when playing the crybaby about something that didn't suit you got you into a world of hurt and humiliation, too; big difference between old style rebelliousness and modern crybabies. Fortunately, the Military has always known how to deal with all kinds of people, as long as the politicians keep out of it - that's what's really changed, political interference.

1 or 2 drive me nuts, hundreds are almost a soothing background noise. Of course, when there's hundreds (maybe thousands at that time), you're really careful about getting that mosquito net secured around your bunk.

Inside the house cleaned, at least my part.
Now onto coolant flush in 2 cars. UGH.
