Afternoon Woodsnitzes. Sitting at the Hyundai/Mazda dealer waiting for replacement of a 78 cent plastic part that holds the center console closed on the wife’s car. They have to take it to their “service center” which is located a few miles away at the GMC dealership. I asked, “Why don’t I just wait over there?” And was told that would be outside the protocol since apparently there are reams of paperwork to complete for a warranty repair that incidentally has been out of warranty since October 2018. It seems that maybe I should have listened to all those hundreds of phone calls I received about vehicle warranty expiration.
