Was up late last night watching the Wild lose again. They are getting good at losing a 4-1 lead to get beat in ot.

John, hope you can tell us better news about your wife today.

Ken, I've had PT that helped, but once kept trying to do something I was told till finally it hurt so bad I couldn't, and when I quit, it got better. But most of the time they seem to know what they're doing.

Checked the temperature, I'm gonna forget what it was, I don't like minus signs. Glad I did the shopping yesturday, at least it was zero. I can't remember the last time I never got farther than the mailbox for 15 days, wus nice to do some real walking yesturday.

I'd gone a few years before getting together with some friends a couple years ago and shooting pistols. I used one I hadn't fired before, took 5 or 6 rounds to start hitting beer cans at about 20-25 yards. Sucks when either the sights or the target are way out of focus, I miss my younger eyesight. Still pretty fair at figuring out the center of that blur past the front sight, I've seen much younger cops at the local indoor shooting range do a lot worse.

That reminds me of a story. When Audrey was around 12, we had a young cop shooting next to us, and I noticed when he pulled his man upper half target back, all he'd done was nick the edge of the paper a couple times. I put one of those out for Audrey, and she got a couple head shots and some torso hits with 6 rounds from my .357 revolver firing .38s. I watched the young guy, seemed like he was doing everything right... except hitting the target.
