Make sure you put the rag over your helmet, so everyone can see what design is on it. It will also protect your helmet from getting scuffed up.

Actually the straps are for tying to your helmet straps to you don't lose it.

If it was me I'd just the damn flap off of it so I wouldn't have to loose sleep at night. This is almost as confusing as the chicken and the egg thing.

And don't forget the do-rag lift ya gotta put on so the air goes under the rag and keeps your head cool.
