The bad acting and the lack of relevance are what make them "good". I watch them when I can. Today's prime time is equally horrible, not for the same reasons, but for obvious reasons none the less.

Just wondering if anyone has read Hunter S Thompson's account of living with the Hells Angels in the 70's

Well, it's not at all realistic, but if you think you might enjoy a Tarentino low budget biker B-movie, check out "Hell Ride". Not realistic, but entertaining if you're into Tarentino flicks as I am.

And then you have the other 3-patch clubs like Christian Riders, Am Vets, Leathernecks and many other military MCs, VTwin MC, etc. - so what are they considered?
It's like that old game whack-a-mole. Unless those clubs stick their heads up, nobody in the major clubs gives a crap. You might be important to your bros, but you are nobody to anyone else.

Look up Boozefighters M/C. The movie was based on the Original founders of the Boozefighters and the club had been around since 1946.
