What the hell is this 'jiffy stand' business?

I was at the dentist a while back, and an 85 year old woman (she told me so), asked me what kind of bike I rode. I told her I had an HD. She then told me the story of her one ride on a motorcycle, when she was 19. It was on a HD. When the rider took off he forgot to put up the "jiffy stand", her words, and they crashed. She hadn't ridden since. But, SHE knew what a jiffy stand was, and still does.

I don't know i use the jiffy stand so when i park i don't have to throw it on the ground

According to the Owners Manual:
"Misuse or non-use of the afore mentioned Jiffy-Stand can result in severe injury or death".
In light of this stern warning I think it would behoove us all to become properly acquainted with our friend the Jiffy-Stand.

1. What the hell MOCO thinks we are gonna do with it.
2. What idoit did it and then tried to sue them saying no one told me it wasn't sex toy.
