easier to wash a do rag than a helmet.

Like some of the others, when I wear mine, it's mainly to keep the helmet cleaner.
My Scorpion helmet has a removable, washable liner, so I don't wear one if I wear that helmet. |

I wear a hat turned around backwards. This serves two purposes.
1. Keeps the sweat off my helmet. 2. Keeps my neck from burning on those long rides in the sun. |

Yeah--keeps my half helmet from sliding back on my head. Don't really care how it looks!

Doo Rag keeps the sweat out of my eyes and from getting absorbed in the helmet. Also I want to look like a big bad biker.

I have always worn one for keeping the helmet clean, and I have also noticed, it's quite comfortable.

Anyone who wears a doo rag under their helmet is nothing but a poser! I mean what's next, finger-less gloves and assless chaps?! If you even DARE wear a doo-rag, expect to be pulled over frequently by the Fashion Police. They are always on the look-out for such things. I was pulled over and ticketed last week at the Motorcycle Museum in Iowa cause I had a white scarf on! Got fined $50!!
On a serious note, I have long hair, the doo rag helps keep my hair from knotting, as well as out of my eyes. It also is good at wicking sweat. |
Sweat, and it snugs up the fit of my skid lid!
