Have a couple that I really like. In the summer when "concealed" is a bit tougher, my preferred weapon of choice is a Glock G43. In the fall and winter when there are some other options, the G43, XDM 9mm and I just added a H&K that is just smooth but not proficient with it enough yet to carry it.

Some of that is due to short barrels where the necessary FPS isnt conducive for expansion. Mouse guns are small and very concealable. As we all know any gun in hand beats rocks being thrown, lol. I like the 22mag PMR for the fact of very light weight to carry and 30 rds ,one could actually lay down cover fire with it. Most of the time I carry a Sig 938 or Kahr PM9 both are small, the Sig is a bit more refined vs the Kahr, both dead nuts on accurate as well. I do notice a lot of the self defense authors are advocating for double stack mags now days.Saying that perps are running around in groups and the single stack with 7-10 isnt enough. Makes sense, but down in FL we wear warm weather gear, shorts T-shirts, hard to conceal larger capacity style guns with out having to dress for concealment.

The plastic fantastic PMR weighs 19.5 oz loaded, 4.3 BRL.length, the 40-50 gr HPs do expand very nicely. !! . I also have the carbine made by them, its very trick and both guns are great for BUG OUT ! 1000 rds of 22 mag is minuscule compared to 762x39 or 556. Not a cannon but a formidable caliber which I think may be more potent than 32 or 380 and great application for those looking to slim down the BUG!.

I carry that when I go to a certain park that has a lot of left over late night crack heads who shoot hoops.Had a run in thankfully was able to walk away because of my dog, but afterwards when I saw that 15 or so were gonna split my wig I decided to get something that I could double tap a dozen or more perps if need be.

I have a friend who just bought 2 very non FFL entities one was a flame thrower and the other was the air bow, which can shoot 8 bolts on a single charge at 450 FPS.He says he can nail yu at 50 yrds no problem. Flame thrower , well lets just say it clears brush FAST! https://throwflame.com/

Glock 26 with two extra mags. I carried a G43 for a while, but when running tactical drills at the range it jumped around a little too much in my big hands.

I also have a VP9 for winter carry, and if I'm feeling really cocky, I carry my Sig P227... it's like wearing a brick but gives you a warm fuzzy feeling when looking into the eyes of a potential dirtbag.

I hear `Ya. My small hands seem to be made for my Glock 26. You can also use .40 sized magazines in this 9mm gun. The 13 round version of the .40 allows 14 rounds of 9mm as well.

21+1 rounds in my CZ P09 suits me just fine.

Sig 238 unless I'm going somewhere or at sometime when I feel I need bit more. Then it's the Shield 40 or the Glock 32.

I have recently moved from the G19 to G43 with a Crossbreed holster. So easy to carry now!

The one you have with you always, if reasonable caliber.
