Another good man gone :(
I just learned that my wife's best friend lost her dad (88 yrs old) the other day. I know the man and have a huge respect for him. I'm gently trying to convince her to invite the PGR to honor him at his funeral. He's being buried in Arlington National Cemetery. I'm sure you'd agree that he is deserving of it.
The following is an excerpt from the newspaper article. I've removed any names as I'm not sure of the families wishes on posting them.
"He fought with the Air Force during WWII. He was shot down over Germany, was a POW and escaped after a year. **** was a teacher and principal in the Baldwin School System for 30 years. Then he became a pastor for the Church Of The Redeemer Episcopal Church in ***, NY. He also trained to be an EMT and chaplain in the Poconos in Pennsylvania."
This country lost a good man!
