Default New '15 RGS doesn't like throttle twisted

I've noticed after riding for a little while if I drop a gear or gun the throttle for passing or just accelerating to avoid a misguided cager changing lanes, my bike seems like it slips a gear. It'll jump to 5000 rpms and the gear indicator won't show a gear. It goes back into gear and then gets up and goes, but the initial rapid acceleration is only high revs. Not sure what's going on. It's only got 700 miles, no engine mods, not even first service done yet.

Sounds like the clutch is slipping, back for warranty service soon or it will burn up and they may blame you.

Ruh Ro. Hope this isn't an initial sign of a possible clutch recall on the '15's. Dunno why there seems to be so many issues with the hydraulic clutch. They have run the for a few years on the CVO's. You would figure they would have it right by now.

I took it in, and nothing to report. Service manager said they pulled primary off and checked the clutch plates and everything was in spec. He also said they had a tech take it out for a 30 minute ride to see if they could replicate problem and weren't able to. So for now, he basically said there's nothing they find to be fixable. So I'll keep an eye on it.
