Picked up a used Daymaker - install question, with Pics

Got a great deal on this, $140. However, I may be missing something or maybe an adapter is required?

Part number is 73392-10. Anyone run across this? The back part of the headlamp is way too big to fit through the bracket assembly on my bike. It's an '01 Road King.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you're missing the mounting ring, as most Daymakers take a diffrent mounting ring! You can use the part number to google the install instructions.

OK. That makes sense; I guess when you buy a new one, it comes with the mounting ring?

Or, I could modify the old one. Got the part number, just not sure how easy it will be to find. Probably have to order it from the dealer.

You need the mounting ring assembly part #68124-04B from dealer unless you can find one on ebay or the classifieds here.

Thanks.
I'll check my dealer, however, I was thinking I could modify mine.
