Default Stage one air filter

I was wondering if removing the gas tank on a 2015 FLHTK is needed to remove the connector mounted on top the throttle body? I don't have a manual yet and don't know the proper method to remove the tank.

You mean the throttle body support bracket? I would buy a kit that doesnt require removing it, like the Fuel Moto one.

Are you looking at adding a high flow air filter kit? Might want to call Fuel Moto or another large parts store and inquire if you need to for the type of system you want to add.

Yeah, can you return it? The Fuelmoto one doesnt require you to remove it.

Not sure I can return. I opened all the bags and put the sticky gasket on the housing already.

I removed my tank.

I have never had to before, but those bolts were ON there.

Removing the tank on a '14 or '15 is literally a 3 minute job. And VERY simple if there is not much fuel in it.

You can do it without removing the tank. The two mounting bolts take a 3/16 Allen head. It takes 10 minutes to remove them with the tank in place.

What he said, quicker to remove the tank in a few minutes than to fight it..
