Default Momentary loss of electrical power?

Need help...
I have 2010 Street Glide.
Rode twice lately and noticed a problem. There are two things that continue to present themselves.
1. The electrical power cuts out for just a second. The speedo will drop towards zero but restarts when the power returns, the engine stops for a second then runs. If I am stopping (no throttle) the bike goes to a fast idle (nearly 2000rpm), then back to normal.
2. The second condition is less complicated. The radio has a power loss for an instant and then restarts, today this happened about every minute.

Bike has 28k on it now and never had and issue before. It has been on the tender (cold here and not riding much).
The bike started easy as always.

I did check codes and found 2: B1006 and B1007 These do not sound like the problem, not sure:

Help would be appreciated... thanks

check the battery cables are tight for a start.

check that the + battery cable's insulation isn;t worn through and it is grounding to the frame momentary...like on a bump. ( check the wiring from the voltage regulator to the battery too)

check that the maxifuse legs are clean tight and secure

start bike in driveway and jump up and down on teh seat, bash the tires with a ball-bat...see if this is related to bumps...a loose or shorting connection

wiggle ign switch

disconnect and connect ecm to renew connections

regarding you rcodes:
the voltage regulator should limit voltage to below 14.8 volts- any more and it is pooched. fix this before further damage is caused.

Bike shutting down due to overvoltage maybe?

And with the bike being EFI with an ECM and sensors etc there is no telling what that might do. Fast idle etc maybe.

I'd start with checking your charging system.

................. I'd suspect the tender, possibly damaged the reg/rectifier. A loose ground on the regulator mounting/frame? Jump starting from running vehicle could also damage the regulator/rect.

I believe there was a recall on the voltage regulators. Pretty sure 2010 was one of the years the recall pertains to. Check with your dealer to see if you qualify for replacement.

Had a bad ignition switch once that would do that. Good luck.

2012 touring models had the voltage regulator recall.

Had the same code a while back with an intermittent issue. The plug between the regulator and the stator has burnt causing issues different than your though. Both were replaced under warranty. VR recall was 2012 according to this.
